About Me

Hi!

I am Tiffany, the owner and creator behind Smith Avenue Clay. I live outside of a small rural Kansas community with my husband and two adorable children. I started Smith Avenue Clay in February 2021, but I opened my first Etsy shop, Smith Ave Designs, in 2015. 

My business is currently run from our home, but we are in the process of renovating the 1900s wash house on our property to create an office and studio. 

I worked with clay some in high school, but didn't find it again until my daughter and I were trying to find ornaments to make for Christmas. We settled on clay ornaments and it just grew from there. 

I absolutely love the versatility and endless possibilities of polymer clay. I spend hours researching, experimenting and trying new techniques, and I'm always looking for way to improve. 

My hope is that my love for the craft will come through in every piece I create.
